| Profile | My parents were German, but I have lived in Ireland since I was 4 years old. My German is barely adequate but badly out of practice. Got a degree and a Masters in Politics, Sociology and Peace Studies. Married (now widowed) with three now grown up great kids who tolerate my blogging with some bemusement. Worked in business for many years and took early retirement when the opportunity arose. Involved in restorative justice, drug addiction, and educational organisations on a voluntary basis.
