Question: “Can you name the document that replaced the E111 health form in 2006?” Answer: “The European Health Insurance Card.” There’s nothing like a quiz, and the best quiz is a pub quiz, right? Right. Congrats, then, to the London office of the European Parliament for figuring out what excites those Brits.
The pub quiz.
“European Union officials have enlisted one of Britain’s most popular pastimes, the pub quiz, in their battle to win over the public.” So reported The Sunday Telegraph yesterday. The UK Office of the European Parliament, to give it its proper name, does not make finding the pub quiz simple, however. It’s tucked it away off homepage in the form of two PDFs in the “Outreach > Resources & Fact sheets” section. Still, it’s easier to find that getting the Telegraph to write anything positive about the EU.
Answer: “12″. But what’s the question?
Note to quizmasters: “** Following heated debates on this question at various pub quiz events, sizes 38, and 42 were also accepted. Equivalence in women’s dress sizes across the Continent is a tricky issue!”
You can’t beat a pub quiz, right?
Thank you for pointing out one rdeeming feature in the Sunday Telegraph.
