If it’s good enough for atheists…

Remember the media fuss last year about the atheist bus campaign? Isn’t that the kind of thing the EU Parliament election strategists should be coming up with? Not atheism. Buses. And buzz. Using buses to generate election buzz might get the commuters all enthusiastic, and it need not cost a fortune, either.

Here’s what I’ve got in mind, and I do hope that the atheists won’t feel that I’m stealing their idea, even though it uses their typeface. Anyway, buses have been around for ages, right? And there’s a pan-European proverb that says “The Devil has the best ideas!” Right? So, it’s just a matter of taking the atheist slogan that we’ve all become familiar with and tweaking it to suit the needs of the campaign. Here’s an example.

On the bus

The beauty of this is that all EU member states have buses. Now, go and make your own EU election bus slogan and let’s get this baby on the road!

  1. Maybe some WordPress expert can tell us how to paste images into comments. If it’s allowed, that is. Is there a Th!nk About It admin person around? Hello?

I think it should work if you write the HTML directly…

    Have a try with this:

Glad you’re using the bus example. The New Europe newspaper ran a bit of a competition using the bus slogan generator:

Agh, no, the answer to that is it doesn’t work… Sigh. Just writing the HTML normally works, but seems the security is blocking it. :-(
